Mauritius Day 2

30 June 2014 - Day 2. And as (or if) anyone can tell, I'm pretty much a nature person. I guess the city reminds me of reality wayyyyy too much.

Curepipe > Grand Bassin > Chamarel Waterfall > Seven Coloured Earth > Some random beautiful place our driver stopped us > Acquapazza at Four Season

If I'd to summarise my experience of each place in one sentence:

Curepipe: Apparently we were right on top of a volcano and it reminded me of Waiheke Island (I think) in New Zealand.

Grand Bassin: Huge Hindu temple.

Chamarel Waterfall: Sweet as waterfall from afar - Had to zoom in a little.

Seven Coloured Earth: Molten volcano rocks cooled down in different colours, hence the name. Interesting. (PS: my photo doesn't do justice, google instead)

Some random beautiful place our driver stopped us: Just wowza.

Acquapazza at Four Season: Well, fine dining... Food was just O-K.

Abrupt end, time for meringue tarts.
